Young Thug’s Dad Makes Cameo in Gunna’s New ‘One of Wun’ Video

Young Thug’s father has made a surprising appearance in Gunna’s latest music video, further solidifying the notion that there are no issues between the two YSL artists. The visual for “One of Wun” was released on August 2 and features not only Jeffrey Williams Sr. but also players from Overtime Elite, a basketball league for athletes aged 16-20. Among the players are Tyran Stokes, Brandon McCoy Jr., Parker Robinson, Jayden Wilkins, and Romelo Hill, who is the son of singer Monica and fellow hitmaker Rocko.

Gunna has faced numerous accusations of snitching after taking a plea deal in the ongoing YSL RICO case, but Young Thug’s father doesn’t seem to share this sentiment. Back in June, Jeffrey Sr. even connected with Gunna during one of his concerts, showcasing their continued bond.

Last year, Thug’s father clarified on Infamous Sylvia’s radio show that Gunna’s plea deal didn’t harm his son’s defense in the ongoing court proceedings. “I love Gunna,” he stated, emphasizing that Gunna hadn’t done anything that could negatively impact the case.

However, not everyone in Young Thug’s camp shares the same feelings. In a song snippet that surfaced on social media last month, some of Thug’s children expressed displeasure, with one line suggesting, “And Bentley a rat, he keep leaving stains/ And Gunna get whacked if he leave L.A.”

Despite these tensions, Gunna has maintained that his relationship with Young Thug remains unchanged, describing it as one built on love. “It’s the same. It’s love, always. Our relationship is our relationship,” Gunna shared in an interview with XXL.

Young Thug himself has never publicly addressed the snitching allegations, although he recently hinted at a divide when he tweeted from behind bars in support of Lil Baby, who has been vocal about his belief that Gunna is a “rat.” In the cryptic tweet, Thugger wrote, “Whateva wham say goes,” referring to Lil Baby’s nickname.

The video and the ongoing dynamics within the YSL crew continue to draw attention as fans and observers watch the unfolding drama.
